Infrared repair’s are superior over the traditional methods of a temporary fix like cold patch or saw cutting, remove and replace patching, because the existing asphalt is liquefied along with the new hot mix asphalt bonding the asphalt cement and stones together forming a watertight and virtually seamless patch.

Infrared Procedure:
Once your pavement has reached the correct temperature, the heater is removed and a steel rake square’s the area around the damaged surface to scarify the asphalt. Virgin asphalt is then added to the repair to bring the area up to grade. The new asphalt is then compacted with a vibratory roller or plate.
